When your body and soul are out of balance, it can impact every part of your life: Sleep disturbances, exhaustion, anxiety and physical complaints can all take a huge toll on everyday life. Psychosomatic therapy in our mental health rehabilitation center offers you a safe space to work through the issues, restore strength, and find a better quality of life, step by step.

What is mental health rehab?

Psychiatric rehabilitation or mental health rehab is aimed at people suffering from a combination of psychological stress and physical complaints. At our mental health rehabilitation center, we bring together medical care, psycho-therapy and activating therapies in a comprehensive program which is tailored to the needs of the individual patient.

Aims of psychosomatic therapy

The main aim of psychosomatic therapy or psycho-therapy is to strengthen emotional stability, alleviate physical complaints, and develop new coping strategies. Patients learn to find better ways to deal with stress using their own resources. Our mental health rehabilitation center supports them to improve their health and quality of life over the long term – and simultaneously facilitates a return to work, family, and social life.

Our process for psych rehabilitation

Structured daily routine

During mental rehabilitation you can expect a clearly structured daily routine in a secure environment. It begins with a comprehensive initial consultation during which the treatment team works with you to analyze your situation and establish goals.

Close supervision

During your stay, you will receive close and continuous support from doctors, psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff. Regular conversations and check-ins ensure that progress is identified and treatment is adapted as necessary. An experienced team is available round the clock – so you can restore your stability step by step and shape your daily life independently once again.

Aftercare and support

We remain by your side even after your psychiatric treatment has come to an end. It is crucial that the progress achieved is transferred to everyday life and is sustainable for the long term.

After rehab: Returning to everyday life

You plan your transition back into work, family life, and the social environment together with the treatment team. The aim is to apply the newly acquired strategies in everyday life.

How does psychosomatic rehabilitation work?

Upon admission, we conduct a detailed intake interview in which we work with you to determine your situation and your goals. During your stay, you will be closely cared for by doctors, psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff. Regular consultations take place and the therapy plan is adjusted accordingly.

Even after your rehabilitation with us, we will support you in safely transferring the progress you have made into your everyday life and successfully mastering your way back into your career, family, and social environment.

How does rehabilitation work in Switzerland?

Following admission, an individual therapy plan is produced which combines medicine, nursing and specialist therapies. Patients benefit from close interdisciplinary cooperation and modern technologies. The aim is to restore independence and quality of life as quickly as possible.

Will my insurance cover the costs of rehabilitation in Switzerland?

In many cases, health or accident insurance covers the costs of rehab when prescribed by a doctor. International patients should clarify the terms and conditions with their insurer. Our international team will happily support you to clarify cost approval with your insurer and take care of residence permits.
